This gallery displays work that was created in early 2010. Young people with autism and parents of autistic children shared their experiences of living with autism.

There was something very powerful about coming together, breaking the isolation and sharing our experiences of autism. What was very striking about the parent's workshop was the determination of each parent to transform a difficult situation into one of hope. And our perseverance in striving for a better quality of life for us and our families.

The youth workshop was very fun and full of lively energy. Everybody- teachers, LSAs, artists and students left the workshop amazed at what we had all managed to achieve in a few short hours. And were inspired by the amazingly diverse artworks that the young people had created.
